A proud second-generation Longmont native and craft beverage enthusiast, David Lewis set out to showcase his hometown’s vibrant brewery, cidery, and distillery scene. In 2016, he launched BrewHop Trolley with the purchase of their first trolley—affectionately named Dennis Hopper—and began offering a Hop-on + Hop-off loop connecting locals and visitors to Longmont’s best tasting rooms.

What began as a one-man trolley tour has since grown into a family-operated business, now proudly run by David and his sister, Laura. Together, they’ve expanded BrewHop into a full-service charter company with a fleet of vintage-style trolleys, offering a unique and memorable transportation experience for weddings, birthdays, corporate outings, sporting events, holiday celebrations, and any occasion that calls for a touch of classic charm along Colorado’s Front Range.

You’ll still find David aboard the trolley on weekends—waving to locals, welcoming visitors, and doing what he loves most: connecting with people in the community.

Deeply rooted in local pride, BrewHop Trolley is passionate about supporting fellow small businesses, community organizations, and nonprofits. David’s commitment to giving back has earned the company multiple awards and grants, celebrating BrewHop’s role as a beloved fixture in Longmont’s vibrant community.
